Family Workshops Museum Family Workshops provide opportunities for families to experiment, discover and explore together. Hands-on, facilitated activities encourage families to explore a different featured theme each month.
Family Workshops are offered every fourth Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Workshops are $4 per person in addition to Museum admission and are appropriate for children 5 to 12. Parental participation is required.
Learning Center The Museum's Learning Center is a place of discovery. Hands-on, facilitated activities encourage families to explore a different featured theme each month.
The Learning Center is open Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Activities are free with Museum admission and appropriate for children ages 5 to 12. Parental participation is required.
Cape Fear Skies 3-2-1-Blast off! Venture into Cape Fear Museum's portable planetarium and explore the night sky in the daytime. Hands-on, facilitated activities encourage families to explore a different featured theme each month.
Cape Fear Skies is offered three times every third Sunday. The program is free with Museum admission and appropriate for all ages. Parental participation is required.
