Low Income Household Water Assistance Program - Ending 5/31/2023
- The Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) is a temporary program that helps eligible households afford water and wastewater services. Payments are made directly to the household's utility company. Households can apply for LIHWAP through May 31, 2023, or until funds are depleted.

CFPUA ASSIST
Customers who do not qualify for LIHWAP may be eligible for assistance through CFPUA Assist, a permanent program administered by New Hanover County Health & Human Services. The program provides emergency financial assistance for Cape Fear Public Utility Authority water and sewer bills.
