Funding supporting our evidence-based health programs such as Geri-Fit, Tai Chi for Arthritis, and Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less is a combination of federal and state funds, plus consumer contributions from participants. County and local funds may also be used.
Our goal is to offer these programs to as many participants as possible. One way to expand programming is through voluntary consumer contributions.
We are asking you to consider making a contribution towards the health and wellness program you are currently attending. This money will be used towards materials you received plus help to serve others. Whether you contribute or not and the amount that you give will not affect your participation in the evidence-based health program.
If you would like to make a contribution toward the cost of service, please mail your contribution to NHC SRC at 2222 S. College Rd. Wilmington, NC 28403.
You can also contact Rebecca Pearce at (910) 798-6403.

Due to risk management restrictions, we can no longer accept contributions of canes, walkers, rollators, or wheelchairs. If you have walkers, wheelchairs, handicapped toilet seats, etc. please contact Pine Valley United Methodist Church here in Wilmington. Their number is (910) 791-0353.
The Katie B. Hines Senior Center does have a small selection of walking assistance devices.
You can also help us:
- With your time by serving as an instructor or as a volunteer (view our volunteer page).
