City of Wilmington Emancipation Proclamation Series

The city of Wilmington's Commission on African American History will present the second installment of its current series about the Emancipation Proclamation — one of the most pivotal moments in U.S. history. Attendees will be provided with information about current educational initiatives, and there will also be a panel discussion titled, "Black Literary Societies and Education: Past, Present and Future."

This FREE EVENT will take place in the Williston Auditorium.
