NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC – Due to the threat of inclement weather, the second annual Cape Fear Latinos Festival has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 30. The event will start with a parade at 1:30 p.m. in Downtown Wilmington leading to Live Oak Pavilion where the festival will run from 2-8 p.m.
Created as a community celebration for Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15-Oct. 15), the festival is a collaboration between the New Hanover County Office of Diversity and Equity, Cape Fear Latinos and the City of Wilmington to showcase the rich diversity and contributions of Hispanic/Latino residents in the community.
Admission to the festival will be free and feature family-friendly activities, performances from local artists and more.
